JOB SUMMARY:Transport clients to and from Delaware House and assist Transportation Coordinator in clerical responsibilties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Transport clients to and from Delaware House during morning and afternoon hours.
2.Other driving and administrative duties, as required by the program.
3. Transporting clients to medical appointments.
4. Daily check of vehicles for:
- safety
- maintenance needs
- cleanliness (interior trash removal and exterior snow removal)
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.
- CDL license endorsement preferred.
- Safe driving record and the ability to exercise good judgment and flexibility when transporting clients.
- Must satisfactorily complete Agency provided safety program.
- Experience in a social service setting a plus.
Weekly Work Hours not to exceed 19 hours per week Proposed Salary $16.50 per hour Schedule Various hours as needed (Monday- Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm)
