JOB DESCRIPTION
This part-time, temporary role is pivotal in executing our brand re-fresh initiative, Women Who Inspire Campaign, and other Communications projects.
Responsibilities
Brand Refresh:
- Act as a project manager working closely with the Vice President of Communications on the brand refresh initiative
- Serve as liaison between the Communications department and the Song/Accenture agency on the brand refresh, ensuring alignment with the Dress for Success Worldwide strategic plan
- Develop weekly status emails, monthly and quarterly reports, and PowerPoint decks for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate communications for Affiliate Impact team, including communications/presentations for Chief Affiliate Impact Officer, quarterly Affiliate Roundtables and Affiliate Councils, monthly affiliate meetings, and the 2025 October affiliate conference
- Collaborate with Vice President of Communications and Song agency on brand activation and integration, develop reports and updates on agency activity, coordinate interviews and presentations, and help troubleshoot and respond to affiliate branding questions and requests
- Reporting directly to the Comms Director, monitor agency performance management and update CEO, ELT, and Board on progress
Women Who Inspire Campaign (WWIC):
- Under the supervision of the Director of Communications, serve as project manager for campaign, including managing post-event 2025 campaign outreach efforts, brainstorming areas of improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance individual and corporate donations, and summarizing and analyzing outcomes and performance
- Implement comprehensive strategic plans for 2025 Luncheon and 2026 campaign, including managing general project timeline, and allocating budget and resources to ensure that all aspects of the event or campaign are executed effectively and efficiently
- Get the timeline approved and make sure all deliverables are executed according to the approved timeline
- Coordinate with Communications/Development departments and graphic designer in developing WWIC campaign infographic summarizing key KPIs and benefits for use in securing potential corporate sponsors for 2026 campaign
- Provide oversight, guidance, and direction to the Development team in all closure and follow up for 2025 campaign
- Coordinate cross functional collaboration with Development and other departmental teams as needed to leverage resources, expertise, and support for successful events or campaign execution
- Proactively seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving processes and outcomes for future events and campaigns
- Prepare PowerPoint decks and progress reports for ELT and DFS Worldwide Board
Special Projects:
- Act as Project Manager and provide support to the Communications department on Worldwide, Special Projects, Marketing and Promotions, initiatives, and strategic planning
- Perform other related duties, as assigned

Required Education and Experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in roles related to Project Management, Communications, and/or Strategic Planning and Management
- Experience managing junior staff and serving as liaison with external agencies and vendors
- Demonstrated proficiency in nonprofit management, data analytics, and project evaluation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, project, and data management platforms
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, scheduled for three days per week, with one in-person workday required on either Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands
Employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds in performing regular office duties and managing records, files, and materials.
Work Authorization
